Top Medical Apps on Android in Italy Q3 2022

The third quarter of 2022 saw noteworthy performances from the top 5 medical apps on the Android platform in Italy. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Blood Pressure App: Bp Monitor from Desarrollos Técnicos saw a varied performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $41 in mid-July, while weekly downloads reached a high of approximately 22.9K in early August. The active user base fluctuated, starting at about 53.2K and ending the quarter with around 50K users.

MioDottore: Prenota una visita, developed by Docplanner Health, experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 13.7K by the end of September. Active users also saw a steady rise, starting from roughly 37.5K and climbing to around 46.8K by the end of the quarter.

Doctolib - Your health partner, by Doctolib, demonstrated a significant growth in weekly downloads, culminating in approximately 12K by the last week of September. The app’s active user count mirrored this trend, beginning at around 39.8K and reaching about 57.6K by the end of the period.

Immuni, published by Ministero della Salute, showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 8.7K in mid-July and dropping to around 4.6K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decrease, beginning at approximately 222.4K and ending the quarter at about 126.9K.

Body Temperature Thermometer from InterPressureHub had a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, with numbers ranging between 2K and 5.2K. The app's active users fluctuated slightly, starting at around 9.9K and ending at about 13.8K.
